Story Telling for English Class
Think Before You Speak
It was a sunny day, but the climate was enjoyable. Everyone in the railway station was waiting for the train to arrive. It was a holiday afterall, there was a group of friends, youngsters who are on board for a vacation.
It was a busy station with juice shop, mobile restaurants, coffee and tea stalls, newspaper shop, restaurants, everyone was busy with their own businness until the announcement regarding the arrival of the train was made. As soon as the announcement was made, they started to prepare for the arrival and went to their appropriate place.
As soon as the train arrived, the youngster hurriedly enters the train before anyone could.
The empty seats were filled and the train whistled to move. An old man with a young boy aged around 15 years came running to catch the train. They entered the train and the train started to move. They had their seats just adjacent to the friends’ group.
The young boy was so surprised to see everything.
He acclaimed at his father, ‘Dad, the train is moving and the things are moving backwards.’
His father smiled and nodded his head.
As the train started moving fast, the young boy again screamed, ‘Dad the trees are green in colour and run backward very fast.’ His father said, ‘Yes dear’ and smiled.
Just like a kid, he was watching everything with great enthusiasm and happiness loaded with tons of surprises.
A fruit seller passed selling apples and oranges. The young boy asked his dad, ‘I want to eat apples.’ His father bought him apples. He said, ‘Oh apple looks so sweet than it tastes’ I love this colour.’
The group was watching all the activities of this boy and asked the boy’s father ‘Is your son having any problem? Why is he behaving very differently?’
A friend from the group made fun of him and shouted, ‘His son is mad I think.’
The father of the young boy, with patience, replied to the friend-group.
‘My son was born blind. Only a few days before he was operated and got the vision. He is seeing various things in his life for the first time.’
The young friends became very quiet and apologized to his father and son.

Matswapati Festival
Hi, I want to tell you about my experience
at Matswapati Festival that is held on the 27th of September 2014.
Matswapati festival is a West Javanese
cultural festival that is held by SMAN 3 Bandung. The festival used to be held
annually but for some unknown circumstances the festival stopped being held
annually, until in 2014 where the festival is being held again.
Matswapati festival showcases our West
Javanese culture and tries to present it to the younger generations, so they
learn to love their own culture. In Matswapati festival, we have a lot of
traditional art performances such as Wayang, Angklung performance, and many
more. Not only we do have a traditional value to attract the younger
generations, we also have Glenn Freddly and barsena to perform there as a guest
star.
Their performance was great, my favourite
moment is when Barsena sang Lorde’s “Royals” and when Glenn Freddly ask the
audience to take a selfie with him. Glenn’s performance ended the festival
quite nicely, I really love how he communicate with the audience, you can almost feel the interaction between the audience and the performer. It was such an awesome experience.

All About Me
Hi there, my name is Bagas Muhammad Al Fariji Darmawan.
Let me take a selfie |
Glasses on! |
I was born in Bandung, 19th October 1998. Which means that now I'm 15 and a half years old (which is a bit old for a tenth grader) I was born to a small and loving family, which consisted of six members including:
1.Me
2.My mom
3.My dad
4.My annoying big sister
5.My fat cat
6.My turtle

3.My dad
4.My annoying big sister

My cat was never happy |
I love my family! But sometimes my big sister could be such an annoying person. Sometimes she would took all my things without telling me first, or sneak into my room and messing with my things. Oh God! how annoying :(
The arts is my passion. I love to draw or paint something. I could also play the piano, I'm not that good, but that's because I learnt it all alone, no music school, no training, just my pure talent.
I also love exploring, I love nature and the outdoors since I was a kid. I always felt some sense of belonging when I'm in nature. It's like the nature is the only place where I feel like I belong there other than my home.

I love food; who doesn't love food anyway?
I'm the number one fan of pizzas, the secret admirer of the stinky durians, and I absolutely love seafoods, especially shellfish and shrimp. The sad news is that I'm a bit allergic to seafood (oh the dilemma) I'll get skin rashes if ate too much of seafood, so I only eat seafood in moderated amounts.

I am single, though I have a scary ex-girlfriend (sorry :( but you're always stalking me and making me scared). I'm not really interested in romantic affairs right now, but we'll see if I can keep my words. Right now, I'm not looking for a romantic relationship, but I'm looking for a true friendship :)
That's all that I can tell you about myself, feel free to ask something in the comments, and see you in my next post!
